Nature's Purpose Tetrahydrocannabiphorol (THCp) is made from 100% organically grown in the USA Hemp. THCp Distillate, or Tetrahydrocannabiphorol, is one of the rare cannabinoids among over 150 cannabinoids that have been identified in the Cannabis Sativa species, which include CBD, THC, and many other biologically active molecules.
THCp is a potent phytocannabinoid, a CB1 and CB2 agonist which was known as a synthetic homologue of THC but, was isolated from the hemp plant as a natural product for the first time in 2019.
THCp is structurally similar to Delta-9 THC, but with the pentyl side chain extended to heptyl. Since it has a longer side chain, its cannabinoid effects are "far higher than Delta-9 THC itself." It is said to have over 30 times higher affinity to cannabinoid receptors than THC.
